Terms & Conditions – Swarnadhara

1. A customer opting for the facility of "SWARNADHARA", and intending to place order for 22 karat / 18 karat Gold Jewellery, will place an order with a minimum advance amount of ₹2,000 (Rupees Two Thousand only) or amount higher thereof, in multiples of ₹1,000 every month for a period of 10 months from the date of 1st advance/payment. Only 10 (Ten) monthly advance payments will be received from the customer.
2. The payment date of 1st advance will be regarded as the 'due date' of advance in subsequent months. Each advance amount will be instantly converted into gold quantity on the basis of M.P.P. Jewellers (Calcutta) & Co.'s gold selling rate prevailing on the due date. Daily gold rates are displayed at all M.P.P. Jewellers showrooms. M.P.P. Jewellers will provide on completion of payment of 10 instalments a discount which is 20% of gold jewellery making charge. The weight of the finished gold jewellery to be purchased must not be less than that of the gold accumulated in 10 instalments. At the time of delivery, the customer has to pay for the balance gold value, making charges and taxes as applicable.
3. The monthly advance amount of every month must not exceed or be less than the amount deposited in the first month. The monthly advance is to be paid in cash, credit/debit card, UPI/NEFT or by cheque payable respectively to the M.P.P. Jewellers showroom where the 1st advance is paid. Payments must be made on the due dates; on failing that within a period of 3 working days from the due date (holidays are exempted). The gold quantity will be computed only at the rate prevailing on the due date and not at the rate prevailing on the payment date.
4. The customer can terminate the instalment facility at any time during the interim period. In such cases M.P.P. Jewellers will not provide any discount on making charges. Under no circumstances cash refund is permissible.
5. The customer will provide Identity & address proof and one passport size photo.
6. If the customer wishes to pre-pay all 10 instalments during the payment of the 1st instalment date by post-dated cheques, then the customer will be eligible for the discount at the end of the 10th month during delivery of the ordered jewellery. However, the total accumulation of gold by weight will be adjusted with the gold weight of finished jewellery. The balance quantity of gold after adjusting accumulated weight with finished jewellery will be computed at the rate prevailing on the delivery date. Making charges and taxes as applicable will be collected at the time of delivery.
7. M.P.P. Jewellers (Calcutta) & Co. reserves the right to alter, amend, add or delete part or whole of the terms and conditions for offering the facility of "SWARNADHARA" at any point of time without assigning any reason thereof.
8. Order for only 22K/18K gold jewellery can be placed.
9. The facility of "SWARNADHARA" cannot be clubbed with any other promotional activities of M.P.P. Jewellers (Calcutta) & Co.
10. Customers choosing to pay remotely via NEFT/RTGS/UPI must ascertain bank details before initiating transactions.
